State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II aims to develop its business through inorganic growth and revenue from noncore activities. Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin said it was very important for the company not to focus only on its core business -- managing airports --, where revenue growth was highly dependent on passenger numbers and service fees. “Airport operators must be able to take advantage of the potential of every line of business, not just rely on [the core] business, which is airport management.
