
TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The app-based ride-hailing service firm Gojek has launched a new feature dubbed GoCar Instan in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to support people’s productivity, said the co-founder Kevin Aluwi.
Kevin said the new service will reduce the waiting time of people to be picked up in the departure terminal.
“We are grateful to Angkasa Pura II (AP II) for its warm welcome and openness to adopt a technology that will ease airport users’ mobility,” he said in Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Tuesday, September 10.
According to Kevin, the feature is one of his corporate’s solutions to provide quick and easy transportation service from the airport. He added that GoCar Instan is an online transportation service reservation on the spot, which is equipped with a practical queue management system both for driver-partners and customers.
The tariff is set similar to that of regular GoCar as regulated by the Transportation Ministry. The pick-up points are designated in 2D and 2F departure terminal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
“At this point, users can order GoCar Instan service, report to our officers in the airport, and then wait to be picked up in the designated area,” Kevin said.
